Jon Cooper resigned as the head football coach at Slocomb for another opportunity. His three teams at Slocomb went 21-23 and 1-3 in the playoffs. Each team won seven games each season. | |
A graduate of Pleasant Home, Richard Tisdale will be the head football coach at Slocomb in 2016. After only one year at Daleville, he was hired at G.W. Long where he served as an assistant football coach. in 2013, he moved to Rehobeth where he coached the quarterbacks the past three seasons. | |

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
